i also called a couple of dealers today and it is hard to believe how clueless their employees are.
They are only clueless because the manufactuers have told them little to nothing about the JT.

The dealers I have heard back from found out about the Launch Edition order in a business district call today, but nothing else. One stated "From what we hear, to order a specific unit will be sometime in June for an August delivery. I hope this info helps." I don't believe a word this guy says though because he is the same one that said Gladiators would start in the $50k-$60k range ... I put him at the bottom of my matrix after that first interaction.

I heard in one of the media videos (so someone reliable) ... they stated customer orders would have priority over dealer allotment. I have more confidence in that statement and am optimistic for an April 5 order date for regular orders ... April 19th at the worst if Jeep wants to pay more homage to Toledo. If dealers are just finding out today about the 4/4 Launch Edition orders, I would be shocked if they have much advance notice timing of regular orders.
As far as customer orders before dealer allotment, I don't see the logic in that.
The initial JT rush/craze to buy one is there. Would it not make more sense to get them out to dealers
so people can actually drive, touch, and feel one to decide. Those that are so hot to order one NOW,
will still be here, even if they have to wait a bit longer because the mfg sent the first wave of production JTs to the dealer so the masses can see it.
Hell you've waited this long for a JT, you'll be fine.:like:

That is what they are building right now. The first wave to go to dealers. To the point of we want them so we can wait longer. F*** OFF.

Well my comment was in reference to the "business" aspect of marketing a new product.
Clearly you are one that is very eager to have one NOW and that's cool.
I will not F*** OFF. :CWL:
