Decaling my Jeep, advice needed...

Once the weather warms up, it's going to be time to start personalizing my Jeep Gladiator (Sport S in black) with some decals. I've found a place I can get the logo I want for the hood (no, it's not a Punisher skull or anything like that,) but they only go up to 23"x23" and while at some point I'm going to at least whip up a cardboard square to see how it'll fit, my question is what does everyone here think?

Should it go bigger (in which case I'd need to find a different vendor,) smaller?

Second, I'm also intending to put lettering down the sides of the hood, where some come with the factory "Rubicon" or "Willys", does anyone know, roughly, the height of the lettering from the factory?

And for those wondering what the decals I'm looking at are? On the hood, the classic COBRA logo from GI Joe in matte black and the lettering would be matte black "BARONESS" Yes, I'm an 80s' kid.

DUDE! Consider a deep purple, red, or red-violet for Classic cobra colors. thats A lot of work for black-on-black!

I thought about going for the classic bright red, but I don't want to be that "in your face", subtle is nice.

But I'm still contemplating the red...

I was going to mention @pixeldecals since I knew they were on the forum, but I'm obviously too slow on the draw. Black on black is a great idea, IMO. As far as size, I think a mock up is going to answer your question there. You could also look at the sizing on some of the precut hood graphics online, that are already mocked up, as a point of reference.

I thought about going for the classic bright red, but I don't want to be that "in your face", subtle is nice.

But I'm still contemplating the red...

maybe a darker red, too. Many shades of red, some more sinister than others.

The wife was kind of unsure how black-on-black would look, until we saw a black Willys with matte black decals, then she saw how you could see them and as you got closer, see them clearer.
