This has happened twice now. Was off-roading this weekend and scrolling through the gauge screens when I noticed that the DEF level was pegged at 100%. It showed just above 75% prior to that. This also happened last fall during an off-road trip. On both occasions after some time of on road driving the level comes back down to where it should be.
Has anyone else seen this?

I have already had the DEF recall performed.

My best guess would be whatever mechanism they use to gauge the level of the tank is affected by off camber situations and returns to normal levels when you get normal.......

I don't have a hard time believing that is the cause, but it takes a very long time (hours) to settle back to the correct level.

it probably only samples every few hours as very little DEF is used in that time.
