Dented exhaust

I was messing around under the JT and noticed the indent in the exhaust. It is near the rear springs. I can't image this is the way it is supposed to be. I have not done any offroading or anything that would have caused this either. Anyone else have the same?

Also I know only the basics for exhaust and such. Any issues leaving it like this or is it worth the hassle to get a dealer involved?

That is intentional, mine has the same dent.
