Sold: Arizona Diamondback HD w/ super-duty PakRax rack for sale ($1650 OBO)

First, the kids kept getting bigger, then my wife started to join the camping trips… so now I will be upgrading to AT Overland Habitat (sleeps 4) next month. That means we have to part ways with what is by far our favorite mod to the JT.

Whether camping for a week or just off to the lake for the day, everything locks away easy and secure. Last year we added the PakRax rack which still allows for the wings and struts to work but now makes it super rooftop tent capable (or hard kayak etc. if that’s your aim). We spent weeks researching each aspect of the set-up and that really paid off. Simple, clean, and just plain works every time; making trips headache-free and happen more often.

Overview:

• custom fit for Jeep Gladiator (2020-2024)
• “rugged black” finish (diamond plate pattern)
• “HD” = 1600 lbs capacity
• 12 tie-down cleats factory installed
• Both “wings” have key locks for security
• steel heavy duty rack fabricated and installed by PakRax (as seen on Down2Mob and other mods online)

What we love about it:

1. locks up everything secure, keeping out 2-legged and 4-legged pests, dust and water
2. get out more often, for longer, with more gear with 3 levels of storage: 1) truck bed, 2) on top of the DiamondbackHD, and 3) on top of the nearly indestructible PakRax rack
3. room for inflatables, coolers, pumps, batteries, water, all outdoor toys and supplies (we go 5-7 days as family of 4 no problem)
4. cover and rack built like a tank (no dents or scratches)
5. chunky profile and diamond plate pattern really look great on the Jeep Gladiator

With our upcoming new setup we have some redundancies so we’ll be including some gear we have found incredibly useful along with the Diamondback HD cover. (prices are for reference, these would be included in the overall price; everything in working order)


Included accessories (FREE but optional if you don’t need them):

• 2 Db ratch tie-downs ($59) (heavy duty and customized for the cleats)
• Rocket Straps Cargo net ($36) – helps protect your gear on top of the cover, also great way to dry water sports fun on the way back to the campsite
• Outland Cypress Fire Pit (~$150) (cheaper on Amazon) and carrying bag ($70)
• Install directions + new end cap and J-clip trim pieces (so yours will be brand new when installing)

Are the Pak Rax removable when not needed?

They are. Just a simple 2 bolts in the cleat and 2 bolts opposite per side. There is no adhesive or an other substance between the two. (Fabricator cut at exact angle to the Db for this very purpose, i.e., simple connect/disconnect.)
