Odubi, I have a similar set-up, i.e., JTRD w/2" lift (MOPAR) and 37" tires. FYI, I am still getting around 21-22MPG and about 17 MPG pulling a small camping trailer.

I have two yellow RotoPax cans, both in Yellow. I like the yellow for the reasons all cited above. However, I have had some issues with the RotoPax. Since they're not vented anymore, pressure builds up in the cans, both from elevation and temperature change, especially with diesel. For this reason, you must stop frequently if your elevation is changing and loosen the cap to release the pressure build. IThe Rotopax webpage recommends venting every 1k feet of elevation change. If you do not, you may crack the can, which I did. I spilt diesel fuel all over my decked system and it was a mess to clean up. I am looking for a way to mount a Wavian NATO 5 gal metal can now instead of the RotoPax. I used those exclusively for years and never had an issue. For me, the RotoPax have always been problematic, with the caps leaking, the spout being a poor design, etc. Much of the woes are caused by regulatory compliance in the US, but it's a pain nonetheless.
Every thousand feet in elevation change is ridiculous. That'd be downright tedious in Colorado
