Different brand 37 inch spare

I've got nitto ridge grappler 37x12.5x17 on the truck. Trying to get a spare but having difficulty getting another matching one due to backorder. I can grab a bfg k02 37x12.5x17 right now. Both should fit up under the bed. I'm having reservations using a different tire though. The bfg is slightly smaller and lighter so easier to fit under bed and less weight, but how drastic will that affect performance if actually used. I don't plan on doing a 5 tire rotation.
Thoughts?

Btw I'll be using the stock spare steel wheel to mount the spare and not a matching fuel wheel
