Different Color Painted Top

Howdy all, I'm getting ready to finally order an Overland, now that manuals are back out again. I will probably get Gator with body color hard top, BUT I am seriously considering getting the Hydro blue and getting the top painted white. Will they order it with different colors like that? Or will I just have to go get it painted after the truck comes in?

I am trying to picture it & no good pictures come up unless your getting white fenders as well. Then it would have a kinda retro thing going on.

it would be my guess though that you will have to have it painted.

I hadn't even considered white fenders, but now I want that too lol. Thanks for the reply!

I don’t think the factory will do that. They’re not like Porsche when you bring bags of $ to the “wishes “ dept.
Have you considered a vinyl wrap.
Should be a little easier to reverse if it wasn’t what you envisioned.

Should be a little easier to reverse if it wasn’t what you envisioned.

I think this would probably be the way to go for both the doors and fenders. Then you could go with the cheap black ones of each and not hurt any potential resale value doing something a little funky that not everyone may appreciate.

Yea I've never in my life ordered a vehicle, so I want to make sure I get it right. I'll check out that wrap idea, makes real good sense to me

maybe just do a wrap so you have the option to take it off down the road.

I have seen some JKs that had white tops with an extended decal tying the color into the body. Its not for me but i thought it looked nice. I think this was the chief edition...?

Personally I would love to see a real two tone jl/jt with the bottom half one color and top another color going from the door handles/mirrors and up including the hood.

Looks like it's going to be white vinyl wrap on the roof and top halves of all doors, it's really becoming kind of a Chief model, which wasnt my plan but now I'm digging it
