Changing the hard top color

I have a firecracker red sport s, im looking into have the hardtop vinyl wrapped. Im thinking either color match to the red, but I was looking to see if anybody had any other color choices.

the vinyl wrap company I use for my commercial trucks told me the textured black hard top wouldn’t work with vinyl wrap

you can however have the top painted to match or lineXd however I’d strongly recommend against a color match in red line X unless you garage keep it or like the color pink

Even if it would work I think it would look odd to wrap it in a matching color because it's bound to be slightly different and look off.

You're probably better off selling it and buying a body color top. The difference in price between what you sell the black for and what you buy the red for is probably about what it would cost to get it painted.
