I ordered both SSC1 and SSC2. But it looks too tight to shove the SSC2 in there with the larger flush mount bezel. I ordered the standard bezel and mount, maybe i can weld a tab behind the plate to mount the SSC2 bracket to.

But i really like how perfectly the SSC1 fits tucked in as seen.

I like it and was thinking the same thing. Did you wire them into the aux switches?

I havent wired them yet but yes theyll be ran with aux switch. And ill run the backlit option too

I'd be really interested in the how to on the wiring if you'd be willing to to take pictures and link anything else needed for the install.

I dont have the oem aux switches but i dont mind taking pics of how I'll run the wires. The mounting plates I made which will only fit the DD SSC1. But i have blank plates if you choose to run a different light.

did this with the dual lights (red/white) tied it into the trailer harness, and they run the length of the panel. Love mine.

Done just need to zip tie the wires along the frame and wrap a couple wire taps.

I must say though theres no better setup than these if you are looking to do a flush mount rear. Being able to run the back lights all the time and the brights when needed. I have an add listed if you're interested in the plates i made. Precut for the SSC1 lights or blanks.

Those look great, I made something similar and covered the plate with reflective tape before installing the lights so I still have the rear reflectors. Good for when you are parked. For wiring I ran it in .25” split loom up the passenger side to the aux switch wiring.

Debated on the red but I'm not worried about when parked or legalities of having red reflectors since I still have red taillights.
