I would like to disconnect my rear sway bar when off roading. I disconnected it before my last trip but could not find a good way to secure it out of the way without having concerns it would come in contact with something (bottom of the bed, ground, etc.). Because of that I reconnected it. Has anyone found a way to disconnect it and secure it out of the way?

I know some people think that you get less articulation by disconnecting the rear sway bar. I prefer to not use this thread for that discussion as I would like to keep this thread focused on how to disconnect and secure the rear sway bar.

I was wondering the same thing since i got the hellwig rear bar and would be great to disconnect it for technical trails

i was looking at it, and it seems like you could fab some brackets that mount to the rear axle bump stop plate maybe? Then the bar and links would ride along with the rear axle. I currently have teraflex bump stop pads in the rear, and that gave me the general idea for a mounting point. Just my initial thought
