DIY outter rail with tonneau cover

I wanted to keep my DIY rail system but also have the ability to put a bike rack or something over the tonneau cover. I do not want a rack so this was my solution.

I had to change my rail system to the smaller strut channel but it all still works well. I then had 2x2 angle at ⅛ thickness and used more of the low profile strut channel on the outside. It is bolted to the trail rail system with 3 ⅜ bolts on each side. I added the front bed rail from the older larger strut since I had it.

I haven't tested the waterproofness but it shouldn't bee too bad once it settles. (Hopefully).
