It does help. Independent tests, GM testing, MotorTrend testing, among others. A lot? It depends on the truck and the cover. Anywhere from a little bit to a few percent.This is a first. How does a cover drop the mpg? I would have figured it would help MPGs
"conventional wisdom" is repeating one small bit a while back that was more about tailgates than covers.
