Hello all!
I’m a proud owner of a 2025 Nighthawk.
Since I drove it home from the dealer I have been talking steps to keep it in good working order, rust proofing etc…
I removed the doors to lubricate the hinge shafts and noticed the shafts had a very rough texture which would wear out the bushings quickly.
With fine Scotch Brite pad, I smoothed out the shaft surface without going down to bare metal, coating them with white lithium grease and reassembled with anti seize.
If you take your doors off, it might be worth checking out…
