2021 Jeep Gladiator:

We've had some hard rains here recently. Noticed a couple weeks ago that the driver's side under floor mat sopping wet. Not wet on top of floor mat. Not when driving, but vehicle was just sitting in driveway. Cleaned it all up and dried it all out.

Took it through an auto car wash. Did the works, undercarriage, etc... Not a drop of water came in at all. Stumped! Have an appt. this Tuesday at my Jeep dealer, but trying to trouble shoot it b/c I just know they'll tell me they can't find the leak.

Last night we had rain, went out this morning to check and the driver's side was sopping wet, again. So much that a heavy towel soaked all the way through when I set it on the rug. We tried to recreate with water hose and nothing.

Feeling around up under the dash and it appears all dry... almost like it's just seeping up from underneath, but that can't be because the Jeep's been parked.

Never had the windshield down or doors off and I've had it for 5 years now. Nothing added that has wires coming through firewall or anything. Original hard top on it. Anyone with experience of this and where it might be coming from?

UPDATE: Dealership found the driver's door seals are what's causing it. Water is running down behind the plastic and under the floor carpet.

Parts/labor, for both doors, around $300 and not covered by my extended warranty.

I have the exact same question except for the passenger's side front carpet. I've noticed a musty smell recently and only figured it out when I pulled up the floor mat to vacuum yesterday. Had rain the day before. Hard top installed.

Thanks Dylan. I'd already searched all the previous items about leaks. None of the suggestions have worked. Appt. is tomorrow, so hopefully they can pin point it for us. We've removed and checked the top. Thinking around the windshield somewhere.

As I mentioned, it's only the driver's side front that is filling with water and trying to find the culprit.

Question; on Driveway - level, incline, camber - off camber where parking. There are multiple youtube videos on Wranlger water leak areas.. might get info on where to investigate.. Also, have used athletes foot spray powder to cause a leak trace on a Wrangler. It will show a leak trail. You have to spray the "A" pillar from Top down the door opening aperture and hope to get a good rain.

completely flat driveway. Already know it's somewhere on the driver's side. Ran it through car wash and held hose on the area... nothing. I'm guessing the rain is coming at a specific angle hitting the driver's side.
