Long story short, I'm running 38's and on the way to work, the front passenger side made an extended grinding noise that went away at speeds below 15 mph. I will park my Gladiator until I have time to change out the front axle shafts next week.

The surprising thing is how little I wheeled this Jeep before the frontend nearly let go! Good thing I didn't sell my 2003 Rubicon! It's back in daily rotation, now.

Question: any opinions on the Yukon axle kit with FAD delete?

I suspect Jeep’s effort to increase fuel mileage by including FAD will cost themselves and owners much more than the fuel savings overall once repairs are factored in. There is a FAD Delete available. You may have to reprogram your Jeep to function properly if the shift motor is removed completely, or you may be able to modify the motor and keep it in place, tricking the Jeep into thinking it’s still there.
