Is there a known hack to integrate the factory front and rear cameras into a DVR system?

Interesting thought; for the purposes of a court however, the resolution may not be high enough to confirm identity.

Most dash cams are at most 1080 so that is not an issue. I have been thinking there is a large missing the after market head unit community for this feature. Cameras are better outside the vehicle and not effected by the windshield or rear glass.
