If you cut just do a U-shaped cut. That way you can shove the carpet back down over it.
Thanks, yeah, that sounds like a good way to go. I pulled out the rear seats for a seat delete and was easily able to lift the carpet up from under the plastic trim back there to reveal the plug. Pulled right out just like the ones in the front under the slush mats. Now I just gotta see about running the cable from the frame up through that hole. It's quite a ways over towards the middle of the undercarriage from the frame rail, hoping I can find a good way to zip tie it up and out of the way.
