Sold: Canada - Ontario Electric running board fail

I had the Westin Pro-E electric running boards installed on my 23 Gladiator from one of the dodge dealerships (Not my first choice, was a gift from my dad and he wanted to get it installed for me while I was home. Thoughtful) Anyways, the dealership did such a horrible job installing them leaving a huge space between the step and the jeep (not flush) as well as installed the off switch underneath the passenger seat…

I’m wondering if anyone has experience with electric side steps and knows how to fix the space between the step and the jeep?

Anywhos, barring a trip back to the dealer who installed them, it sounds to me like you are gonna have to get your hands dirty and just reinstall them the way you prefer. Here are the full installation instructions in PDF form directly from the Westin site.

As an aside......these inexplicably appear to be about twice as complicated of an install as the Powerstep XL that are on my current truck. Not sure why they decided to make it so hard, lmao.
