Sorry, I kind of had to laugh because it's a common thing these days. All Jeeps do it and all hybrids have done it since their inception and more and more vehicles get AutoStop/Start to help meet government requirements for emissions and mpg.2022 Sport. Often when I'm driving the engine cuts out when I stop. As soon as I take my foot off the break it fires back up on its own. Any ideas?
Thx. I've never had it in a vehicle before and would say I'm definitely on the side of not liking itauto stop start, a normal feature of yours and many other vehicles manufactured today. There's a button on your dash to turn it off if you care enough.
It's also a highly divisive feature, but i'm sure others will chime in with their opinions on that matter.
The dealer was fairly clueless about all things Jeep. We did test drive it, but we never had to stop. I'm 99% sure the guy didn't know it had it. It had the Mopar lift on it with 35's and the guy was trying to tell me it was all stock. No joke. I tried telling him even though I was new to Jeeps that wasn't possible. I did get a great deal on the truck thoughSorry, I kind of had to laugh because it's a common thing these days. So you have not read the window sticker, owners manual, and the dealer who sold it to you never talked to you about it - or went for a test drive with you?
Welcome to modern vehicles.
