Honestly, with the 8 speed auto 4.10s and Tazer JL Mini, I don't feel that sluggish with 38's. On the trail, it feels tall, however.

thats in Kern at about 35 mph, i didnt get a video in Barstow, but I'll be back there in October and will definitely be taking videos.

the photo below you can see how one bump stop had the sheet metal frame completely smashed in vs the other with a taller frame. the other photo is after i installed the driver side IFP bump stops

Upper Decker installation almost complete

Nearing completion of the Upper Decker, I loosened then removed one side of the hinge holding the Upper Decker in place. I shouldn't have done that. One hinge is now dislocated, but can likely be reassembled. I will wait until tomorrow morning to evaluate.

I unfortunately pulled this hinge apart by accident. This morning, I repaired it with just a rubber mallet. I will install it back on the bed of the truck and get back to the installation.

Today, I took the truck for a small shakedown drive out to Joshua Tree National Park. I love this Upper Decker unit. I was able to finally store my items in the bed with everything locked in place. Everything was free of dust and the truck now has a finished appearance. I am very happy.

All included items appear to be in place. I will wait a few weeks before installation for practicality sake.
