EVO Rubicon Sway Bar Disconnect Question

I talked with Andrew he wasn’t sure about my question hasn’t went this route, was gonna see if any of y’all have.

If you unplug the motor wire you will have a light on the dash that will require programmer to turn off.

If I pull the motor off and leave it connected and secure the stuff underneath, will I still get a dash light?

i just didn’t want low tire and sway bar dash lights ? My work around is to remove the tpms sensors on the next tire change and follow the directions as per the manual to kill the system and for the sway bar, just leave the parts connected underneath.

Why not just jscan it off? Could do the same for tpms and be done for under 100 bucks. Plus jscan is awesome for codes and trouble shooting.

What's wrong with your actuator? Or you just wants to disconnect whenever?

Nothing wrong with it, just trying to do things without resorting to a programmer.

It can be done. You must protect it from water intrution and somehow secure the hall sensor push rod in a close position.

Ok, I’m gonna try it out. I ordered the necessary items for jscan.

Do you know the exact procedure to turn sway bar thing off ?

I’ll just store the actuator in the garage

1} Connect the sgw bypass and your by adapter to the cables.
2) set the car to run but not on (so hit the start button twice with out pressing the brake)

3) connect jscan and buy a vin so it unlocks for you

4) go to adaptations and in there will be different modules one of them lets you turn off the sway bar equipped

I got the cables waiting on the vlinker.

my question is can I just make the changes and pull the device out and they are saved?

I already installed that auto stop disabler so the only thing I want to change is the sway bar light and tire pressure threshold, maybe the 3 horn beeps when I close the door with the engine running.

Yes, jscan isn't like tazer that has to stay connected. You only have to redo the adaptations if the dealer applies an update

Not to derail this. I found a Rubicon sway bar with the Evo disconnect. Since I have a Mojave can I just install it in place of my stock sway bar? I would assume so and I would assume it would drive just like the stock bar.

It will be slightly stiffer than the Mojave bar but probably not enough for you to notice other than maybe slightly less body roll
