It is my first FCA vehicle of any kind, let alone my first non-GM vehicle, and I’d rather have piece of mind for the next decade :)

Well I just got off the phone with Tom Winkles. I ended up purchasing the 7 year unlimited mileage plan with $100 deductible for $2545.00.

It was pretty much a no brainer going with the unlimited plan as after less than 6 months of owning my JT I have 12,000 miles on it already and looking at about 25,000 or so a year. I really didn't want to worry about miles so this plan was best.

With all the electronics in these vehicles nowadays just about anything going wrong is expensive so I see this as a necessary expense upfront which in the long run may save me a whole bunch of money and gives me peace of mind which makes it even better.

Oh and by the way it does make a difference if you buy it before reaching 12 months or 12,000 miles.

I looked into a 6-year, 60K plan, as I drove under 10K per year, and was quoted $1500, not a bad deal at all.
Will probably go for it after the new year.
Cheers
