Scanned the Jeep lit and talked to the dealer but got no where.

Is there any information on what the differences are (besides size)between the 5", 7" and 8.4"? is it something like large font or display? Or, more information displayed on the larger screen? Thanks!

yes, there is diff between models,
5in screen: Uconnect 3 system, smallest screen on JTs, limited funtions, is basically just and stereo with a small tablet screem
7in screen: Uconnect 4 system, decent screen and full compatibility with smarhphones (carplay and android auto), apps adn satellite radio and more interactive user-car, No OFFROAD pages (if you have a rubicon, so dissapointed)
8.4in screen: Uconnect 4C system. with navigation capabilities, bigger and nice screen, more native apps, i believe it comes with in combo with the Alpine Premiun audio system, uconnect app in your phone so you can expand the capabilities of your jeep.

if you are into connecting your phone, use the apps from your phone into your truck, control all the climate fromm a digital screen, and you are not planning adding a ipad for navigation on trails , then you should go for the bigger screen, looks nice and is easy to control your phone, when you plug your phone it crops the screen a little, so the 7in looks smaller with a phone conected with maps.
