I've been tossing around the idea of getting some different tires for my Gladiator. Thinking about dropping down to a 17" wheel in order to get into a Load Range C tire. Do you think there is a market for this (5) tire\wheel combo? I have to measure tread depth on the Ridge Grapplers but they are not worn flat although they have uneven wear on the outer lugs. The Alpha Commander wheels are in great shape with just some wear around the lug holes probably from doing tire rotations. I'm thinking of asking 1000-1200 for the set, I feel like this would be something that may sell but honestly, I don't know. It seems like OE wheels don't sell too well so maybe aftermarket don't sell either but the price does seem tempting... hopefully?

I think you have a good looking wheel tire combo. As far as price, anything will sell at the right price and location. Go ahead and list them and wait to see who is interested.

Food for thought:
I have Alpha wheels on my overland trailer. They are awesome, and quite lightweight. I'm sure they weigh less than stock wheels, and they have the valve stem guarded, both a plus in my book.

I contacted Tire Rack about additional Alpha wheels to purchase, and a lot of them were unavailable. I tried to contact Alpha but their numbers are disconnected. I then called Tire Rack back and asked if Alpha went out of business, Tire Rack said no... But, there is no way to contact them, which makes me suspicious.

If it were me I would totally keep those wheels. They look awesome.

*A load range C tire is where it's at, unless you are heavy loaded. Both my Wrangler and my wife's Gladiator have load range C tires, at 30psi, and they ride so nice... (What size wheel do you have now?)

Completely agree with what you are saying... here's my problem. I have 18" wheels and there are no Load C in a 37" tire for that wheel. I would much rather just replace the tires and keep my wheels.

Well... I stand corrected on this. My Ridge Grapplers are a Load Range D, I always thought it was E for those tires.
