Ordered a 2022 Firecracker Red Rubicon last Friday! The wait is going to kill me but there was nothing nearby that had the options I wanted. I can't wait to be a member of the Firecracker Red Gladiator JT Club. That is one awesome color and I know this will be an awesome Jeep. Had a Wrangler before and traded to a Ram but I miss my Jeep so much.

I just ordered my '22 Firecracker Sport S yesterday. Coming from a Wrangler TJ I've driven since new - I wanted to say "thanks" for the photos in this thread as it helped me choose Red.

Love your JT! I am adding soft top for summers next year, how do you like it on the interstate at 70 mph?

We drove to LSU from Florida so it was about a 5 hour trip one way. I will say it was pretty noisy. Had to speak up when talking to everyone and forget talking on the phone! I just put the hard tip on for the winter months even though it doesn’t get too cold here. Having a hard top Is great to help reduce noise but the soft top is awesome when the weather is nice!

Latest picture of mine. 3.5 Rubicon Express Lift, 37” BFG AT KO2s, Tazer Mini, winch and Arcus bumper in the garage as well as tailgate gladiator badge and will go to a local customizer shop for center tailgate blackout on tail gate.

The ride is awesome with the Rubicon Express lift and 37’s, just did a 1000+ mile trip with this set up, MPG at 16 cruises easily at 70-75mph with enough power to get well over that. The 4:10’s. and 8 speed auto are awesome. The rear end squats a bunch and the RE 3.5 is a leveling kit which is causing the squat. I need and want the rake as I tow with my truck. I have wheel spacers 1.5” hub centric for the stock wrangler rubicon rims (not on yet), although the spare is a Quadratec aftermarket 17x8.5 copy of same wheel with 5.2 inch back spacing. I have 4 more of those aftermarket copies ordered but they are back ordered for now. The RE kit and shocks are smooth and ride is great but with the weight I typically have in the back of JT it’s too much for those shocks and rear coils. I am going to replace rear coils with taller progressive rate and upgrade shocks at all 4 corners with air bagged rear for towing possibly. My JT will see a lot of towing next year , especially out west with a small 3700 lbs toy hauler (loaded will be about 5000 lbs)

I will have the ARB compressor, ARB lockers, Rubicon Hood with actual vents, (no Rubicon Hood sticker so my Rubicon snobby friends can rest at ease, will have it’s new name on there “Cpt Hook” that is my nickname from HS and I will explain that later) 5:13 gears, and completely change the rear bed set up with new Rack allowing for side mount for mountain bike racks used when I don’t have the toy hauler with me ) a soft cover and bed cover (trying to figure out how to make it work). Will also have a soft top with full front to rear rack (again working on how to do this and make it work easily. Absolutely will be a fab job for the full over cab rack attached to aftermarket rack and done over the winter for a project). I’ll also add a RTT for local bike rides and camping when I don’t want or need to haul the toy hauler camping trailer. The toy hauler is a camping trailer with bathroom, kitchen and queen sized murfee bed. I’ll haul 2 dirt bikes 2 mountain bikes and 2 Kayaks, or a 2 seater side by side with 2 kayaks and 2 mountain bikes.

Lots to do, going full on adventure rig. and looking forward to this latest build out. The JT is paid off and no longer my DD.
The engine will stay gasser 3.6 for now. Eventually plane axle upgrades and a V8 when V6 is too tired. This is why I am not just buying new JT with diesel.
