I have not seen any threads about these tires. They are a mid range tire, around $250 each for 285/70/17. I'm mostly concerned about how they would hold up to sharp rocks. The forestry service roads I frequent sometimes will get a fresh cover of rocks for maintenance. Some of these rocks get pretty jagged. I'm looking at staying in this $250-$275 price range. I am currently running a set of take off wildpeak at's. The take off's on various market place sites in the region are running $700+. I figure after you add mounting and balancing I'm better off just going new. Costco will install for free if purchased with them. I would at least get basic warranties and hazard/rotations for free.

I ran these on my previous truck, also bought from Costco. They were primarily a highway tire. If the dirt roads were dry, they were fine. If the dirt road was wet, they sucked. I never dared to run them in the rocks. They were fine in the ice and snow on the highway.

I disagree on the wet part. I had them on my Frontier when I lived in CO and they’d climb right up steep wet loose rocks after creek crossings.

No idea on sharp rocks, but I never had any flats after a few summers of wheeling on CO rocky trails.

Sounds like you felt pretty confident in the tires.

I like my Revo 3s better, but they’re discontinued now. They were good tires for the money. I never had any issues except they sucked in the snow once they got more than half worn out.
