So we hooked up the camper (20’ EPRO about 4k lbs) this afternoon for a weekend near Asheville NC. Had to pull up one steep grade for about 5-6 miles @ 95 degrees outside. Engine pulled as expected, speed stayed between 50-55 mph, coolant temp got as high as 244 but never lost any power. Other than going up that grade the coolant temp stayed at 228 or less. Trans never got above 208 and oil was 251 at its highest temp. Overall I am very pleased, it’s only the first row and I am getting a larger camper on Monday (25’ and 5200 lbs) so we will see what happens the rest of the summer.

My wife was in Asheville this week! She really liked the area, told me how many brewpubs there were because she wants to go back and take me with her.
