Does anyone make a forced Induction that can still run on 87 octane? My Wheeling Jeep in a LJ Rubicon. Best modification I did was the Banks Turbo instead of re-gearing. I don't drive it much, so paying for premium fuel is fine. I just got my Gladiator to be more of a commuter and towing. I would love more power once I get it on 37s, but I live in California where gas prices can be twice as high as other states. I can't justify commuting with the cost of Premium gas.

91 is the minimum octane needed for forced induction. Sure you could pull all the timing and run really low boost but the fact still remains. The 3.6 as well as any engine produced today should be running premium fuels due to the compression and power levels. You risk detonation in the 3.6 by running 87 octane even in stock form.
