I got a through- shaft stabilizer, non adjustable, from a friend. I felt the stock SS was fine, and still is, but it hangs down low strangely and I wanted to relocate it anyway. So I popped on this stabilizer, and after driving it, I’m glad I didn’t pay money for this.

I’ve read a lot of threads which fawn over this SS, but I can honestly say I felt zero improvement over factory. For anyone considering this, your money is best spent elsewhere.

3.5” lift, 37s, sport max tow.

I was just looking at that same Fox setup for the same reason. Guess maybe I will just buy the relocation brackets,

Agreed I had the same experience... no different in fee and mine (I’m not sure whether it was a defect or not) pushed to one side. I ended up going with the non-through shaft version, it felt better to me and didn’t have the pull to one side like the TS.

also price was a huge factor... the basic Fox one was $140ish, the TS was almost $300 and most were putting the relocation bracket on which runs another 35-75 bucks depending on the version you get. That’s about 2/3 of the price of a new steering box, which seems to be the real cause of people’s issues on here. No brainer to me... don’t overspend on the SS.

I think the stock SS is just fine. No need to replace it at all. I should’ve just sold this one, but now I know. It’s all marketing hype. As long as the steering is set up correctly, nothing “better” than stock is required.
