You would be better off cutting the fad housing from the tubes. Prepping the tube ends and having a custom lathe turned thick walled (10mm to match tube thickness) sleeve replace the FAD housing.
You would still need a jig but you wouldn't have to screw with disturbing the diff housing or the C attachment.
Again a lot of work for little reward. Only makes sense if you have a axle with a broken FAD housing. Even then buy new might still be cheaper.
