new member here...be gentle..lol..and first post to the forum. have a 23 willys...mostly daily driver with mild off roading here and there. question is: i was wanting to keep the highway ride in stock form so i opted for 2.5" and .75 " spacer lift with stabilizer link and shock extension brackets. and ive been happy with it. problem is im now wanting to add oem 3 piece front bumper and a 12k winch wich would add aprx 200lbs to front end. im about 240lbs myself and standing on the current front bumper it droops about an inch so that kills the 2.5 spacer i have in it. my thoughts are to pull them out and go with a 3" dual rate spring to hopfully retain the nice ride and get back most of the lift. your thoughts on my hopes ? thanks in advance

Huh I have a steel stubby bumper and 12kwinch with synthetic line and Mine isn't sagging.. . I changed the front springs etc. Tera flex.. are you using the factory springs.??
If so that's probably the problem the ones on my Rubicon was extremely soft. Hated em always bottoming out etc..

Weight and heights are tricky and there are tons of different factory springs so it’s hard to figure out a formula. I usually make the mods, then correct the height if I need to, after everything has settled. Good luck.

Put them on and see how things settle out. You will probably decide to put the better springs in there. I put all of the heavy stuff onto mine before the lift so I could see how things were and decide on my lift.

If you add weight get springs designed to carry it. Spacers do not do a thing for increased weight other than looks. It will ride better with the right springs. Their is a reason jeep don't use one set of springs and add spacers for a heavier jeep
