Has anyone run into any problems when they disconnected their front axles? I'm concerned with the increased flex possibly stressing the brake lines, breather hose, or binding control arm bushings.
I have seen issues with suddenly disconnecting the axles of "mall-crawlers" (Jeeps that had lifts on them but had never been fully flexed). I realized the hard way that my brake lines were too short and my bump stops were useless. My Jeep will see 95% off-pavement use and never go above 45mph on the highway, so the front end will spend all summer disconnected.
I have a 2021 JT Sport with the Mopar 2" lift and 35" tires. I'm not worried about the tires rubbing, just other stuff.

The shocks on the Mopar lift will limit suspension extension to within the parameters of the brake lines. The front breather hose mount should just slide down the shock tower accordingly (if it even needs to with the Mopar kit), and the control arm bushings will be fine. A complete suspension system should take all of these things into account, but it is always best to check your clearances before going off road.
