So I just talked with Gupton and they are very friendly. She told me if you want the Proximity sensor on a Sport S you have to get the dual door option...….Wow, thanks Jeep!

To the OP, if the dealer you are dealing with can’t figure this out, then you need to find a new dealer. One phone call by them to an area sales manager could resolve this obvious confusion.
So if they are telling you in order to have proximity locks you need to have EIGHT doors, walk away.

I managed to find the problem and let the dealer know. We got it all built with proximity sensor and no additional doors required.

Glad YOU found the problem. Maybe the dealer will hire you since you seem to have a better understanding on vehicle ordering processes.:like:

It's very common for sales staff to either have no idea what they're selling or they actively lie to the customer so they can get a factory order and get them to walk away when it's delivered and sell it to someone else at a huge markup.

Seen this a lot in the Bronco world.....Jeep dealers can't get anything for lot stock since FCA is prioritizing customer builds. One way to work around this is to deliberately screw up a customer order so the buyer walks away from the vehicle and the dealership gets a vehicle to put on the lot and sell at huge markup.

A few stores in my area are supposedly doing this which makes me glad I made the hike to Gupton :)

Over the last few days, this has come up from multiple people at multiple dealers. In this case the OP has heard the same thing from 2 dealers.

Dozens, perhaps hundreds of us have purchased from Gupton and the process went as smoothly as poop through a goose. If Daniel says the system is doing this, its doing this.

He has no reason to lie. I could see a dealer lying about something like floor mats for an easy $200 upsell.

But nobody is idiot enough to buy a $4500 option they don't want just because the system is buggy.

This will be addressed in some kind of update.
