Ordered from my local dealer on 4/6, still not ordered with Jeep

Like the title says, I placed an order with deposit on 4/6. Called 6 days later to get VIN and POC and was informed that order was rejected due to dealership messing up leather seats (did the mopar leather stitching instead of the leather trim). Asked them to place the order again but with cloth and I’ll go katskin after market. Called twice more following and they said yep no problem. Sales manager called me yesterday to inform that no, order has not been placed and give him until Monday when I can come in and go over it together. But my order won’t go until end of MAY now.

chewed on that over night and decided that I don’t want to order from a dealer who doesn’t know their own process. Or someone who has had my money for 3 weeks and can’t get it together.

I’m really upset and plan to head to the dealership today and get my deposit back and go elsewhere. Should be doable, right?

Time to choose another dealer. Perhaps a search for a JT that closely matches what you want that is already on the ground?

Doesn't sound like a dealer I'd trust to finish the job without any more hiccups.

I’ve done the search and unfortunately it doesn’t exist. I was able to get my money back and in fact I was shocked that the sales manager didn’t try to save my sale Definitely is for the best.
