Full height rack with soft cap suspended below...

I was driving north of Boston and passed a Gladiator that had a full height bed rack with a soft fabric bed cap that was attached and suspended from the underside of the rack. It looked like a cool concept and one I have not seen before. I was in my other car so I would have just been some crazy weirdo if I flipped a U turn and followed it.

It was definitely different than the Datin rack. And the material was different than the Softopper. It didn’t have a frame like the Softopper. The inside structure of the rack was the frame.

Could possibly be a one off done by a boat cover shop. Some of those places are fricken magicians.

Yeah, I've not heard of any racks that have integrated canvas yet, so it's likely a custom solution or a prototype.
