I have been having an issue with my ESC/ TC not always switching off when I'm off road. Press and hold the button in 4wd and I just get warnings and messages for a service. It does eventually switch off with multiple ignition restarts but this isn't an ideal situation in the sand here.
This weekend on an organised Jeep dune run, one of the staff pointed out a common fix is to remove fuse 106, the 40a fuse for the ESC pump. Hey presto, no ESC/TC and a brilliant day.
Just make sure ignition is off when removing/ inserting the fuse.
The JTR is due its first service so the ESC will be getting looked at.
