Not topping off beyond letting the latched nozzle fill unattended until it automatically shuts off. This is the first vehicle I've ever owned where this is a problem.Ok there’s one way that might happen due to owners error, that involves “topping off” when you’re filling up, trying to round up to the next dollar amount, that can become a habit. But what that does is actually add so much gas the anti- evaporation system gets full of gas that could cause issues. There’s actually a warning in the owner’s manual in just about every vehicle on the market. This is only posted for information and not about shaming. Good luck!
And it's a small problem, to be honest.

I've had this happen on multiple vehicles and about all of my Jeeps. On the TJ's there is a "hack" to replace the fill hose with a different one, I've never done it on any. My 90XJ did it until I ended up switching fuel tanks. My Gladiator catches me on occasions too, normally it's at gas stations that are running higher than normal fuel filling levels that are full blast or totally off. The tank cannot vent out the air from tank fast enough.
