Jeep brand web page states spring. Not just the two of them. Just saying. But again from a Product development stand point when I say q2 I mean before q3 starts or a couple weeks after.
Exactly! Jeep is still saying Spring availability.

Spring 2019 in Northern Hemisphere will begin on Wednesday, March 20 and ends on Friday, June 21. So, barring false advertising, it will be available by June 21.

Of course that could mean one dealer in the US, at $150k per vehicle. Available does not mean 100 units sitting on every dealer lot, at $20k for the Rubi.

I would say in theory the "gladiator" would be a more capable truck. But right now the Pacifica can haul more then the prototype gladiators we see at the car shows.
The Pacifica has a payload of over 1600 lbs?

I'm not sure if the people reviewing would spend alot of time on pricing? It makes you wonder what is the embargo really for? Should we blame jeep for not releasing the information? Or should we blame people like Roman from tfl trucks? They walk in with media credentials ask pricing, and when Mark Allen or Brandon Grimish say they arnt expecting to release the price till latter on . They fanboy it up and smile and nod. Absolutely no prying no asking for a price range, no asking tough questions for the people who are watching their reviews. Then they agree to embargoes. Only providing the info jeep tells them to provide?
Have you seriously never heard of a press embargo? You've never followed the unveiling and release of... anything?

I wish you would wonder a little more quietly. Perhaps to yourself in the corner of a big room.
Ford had zero issues releasing expected pricing on the Ranger back in dec.

I can see where you are coming from with your experience. My question would be shouldn't jeep have an idea of where they want to price it at this point? A Price range would cover this. And you are correct they have presented this as a 2020 model. But they have also said it will hit dealer lots in q2 of this year. Only Weeks away from hitting the 2nd quarter I would think they should have some general idea and an official statement. Or is their approach build it then price it?
i have spent more years than I would like to admit as a manufacturing manager at a well known pharmaceutical company. Regardless of what is being manufactured, there is a system in place that captures every penny that is required to produce the finished product. I feel very strongly that the bean counters at Jeep know exactly to the last bolt and washer what it cost to produce every vehicle. The profit margin is determined by a variety of factors. Why they are not releasing final prices now is up for debate.

When I ordered my 2018 JK Willys, I ordered it on the first day of the 2018 season. that day was June 8 ( give a day or so). from that date it took 15 weeks ( 105 days) for my Willys to be built and for me to pick it up at the dealer. what I'm getting at is: if it takes 15 weeks to build a jeep and have it on a lot for sale or delivery, they would need to open the order bank on March 8th for a delivery date of June 21st !
I really don't expect that to happen . So by this theory a June 21st date wont happen if they price latter then March.

Willys is a special edition. Perhaps they only make them at a certain time. Set up the line and run a bunch off once every 2 mounts or so.

It will not take 15 weeks to build gladiators. I think I received my JK 8 weeks after ordering it.

It takes about a day to build a Wrangler

The *2019* Ranger... The one that Ford announces in January of 2018... The one you can buy off a dealer lot today.

I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make, but the more you post, the more you sound like a troll.
