Today Motor Trend TV aired an episode of "All Girls Garage" featuring a new Jeep Gladiator. On the show, they compared the JT to an earlier Jeep truck then installed a snorkel, lift kit and bed rack.

Yeah, they cut a brand new hood. I do think Bogi did a good job of it. Doubt the owner actually needs it, but there it is.

watched it and Bogi said that 7k was respectable for a truck (best in class) and that the Diesel would greatly increase that...Tow ratings have little to do with he powertrain but more to do with the brakes...

The full size diesels can tow just about anything that you attach to the ass but the brakes can only stop at the rated values.

Owner is on some of the Gladiator Facebook pages, he also owns the Commando they have worked on in a couple previous episodes. He bought the Gladiator and contacted the director and asked if they wanted to use it. Whether he actually "needs" a snorkel or not, does it really matter? Someone else installed it for him, hell probably got the parts for free, and if he likes it does anything else really matter?
