I don't think this was a hold my beer moment. When I watched this, It looked like the driver ventured too close to the edge, the loose sand gave way and the truck rolled.

The driver did seem off. He didn’t seem upset enough for the situation.
There is a point where you are just happy you didn't die or seriously get injured and your dog is okay.
Just a thought, but am right there with you.

Just watched the video and that was an impressive recovery. The Gladiator did it's job and protected the owner. What's more impressive is NONE of the glass broke even with that large rock by the driver door.
Very impressive now if Jeep could just make a windshield that would hold up.....

Since I have one, I'm happy to see the rescuer running a Badlands winch.
I was wondering if anyone else was going to notice i run Badlands on my Jeeps and my car trailers and have had zero problems so far

On some of the driver actions after the event quite possibly was still in shock from the event or disbelief and confusion.... if not a concussion. Not quite the same league but few weeks back I rolled a brand new close to top model 4wheeler thats around to 900lbs. end over end that didn't have 9 hours on it. I was shaken up to say the least. Over a hour and half to recover it to trail, busted radiator, fan, unseated tire on and on stuff. The shock and disbelief of it, didn't think to even snap a few pictures after I found my phone. Pinched off busted fins in radiator limped it off trail and home.
I was wearing a helmet (luckily) and had bailed off. Just driving the trail back "I was totally off my game" note: this isn't a hard trail. Heck my reason for riding it was just breaking it in and doing some trail cleanup aka picking up the trash on it. Heck I've been banged up alot worse in M113s, back of Bradley fighting vehicles and my trail XJ too.... let alone having IED set off on vehicles I was in. Big difference was S### was strapped down in place not flying around during the impact(s) so he probably had a few lumps.
I watched the video shortly after it posted. One of my regular U-tubers to watch.
