So, applying a tire dressing quickly and neatly can be a challenge on a larger tire. I just got the Detail Factory curveball brush and it’s a game changer! Super easy to use and you can uniformly apply your favorite dressing very quickly!

I like using the OG tire dressing, as the finish is more of a matte finish and since it’s water based, it totally dries to the touch, doesn’t attract dirt, and can be cleaned off easily when it’s time to reapply. You can add another coat if you like more shine.

A water-based dressing is easily cleaned from the curveball brush! https://detailfactory.net/product/curveball-large-area-detailing-brush/

Good feedback. I love detail brushes for cleaning around badges/lights/door handles. I've always wanted to try one for tire dressings, but I generally dislike most tire dressings. I just started using Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Pro Graphene Flex Wax on my tires, and it seems promising.

Another game changer for big tires is using your cordless drill and these brushes for cleaning your tires:

Hey saw this post on the obsessed garage FB page aswell! Was wondering if you were on here.

Does the dressing come off the tires at the first puddle you hit being it's water based? Or when it dries does it stay on strong?

So far so good. Like I mentioned, a water-based product isn’t for those of us looking for a very long lasting product, but the finish is excellent!!

Thanks for the recommendation! That brush is going on my detail order list for sure. I've been using a standard applicator for the tire next to the wheel and then trying to spray mist the lugs. This looks much better.

That, and having to apply tire dressing just for it to be too glossy and taking a dry rag to scrub it to a matte finish.

Does anyone like gooey mirror tires? On any vehicle?!?!!

Man, the curveball is freakin’ awesome! And if you get the tires properly prepped, the brush doesn’t get dirty at all! Just spray the dressing 2-3 sprays into the curveball and go to it. Literally maybe one minute per tire!!
