The standard answer to this question has always been no. Engineers have talked about it for years. They can't make the Hemi fit for a mass production vehicle due to safety testing, cooling demands, etc. And, it's totally counter-productive in today's Obama-era EPA rules that set the path automakers have been on for nearly a decade now.

BUT... with the new administration easing up on regulations a bit, and with Ford bringing out a new direct competitor to Jeep's flagship Wrangler, I'm of the opinion that FCA will want to do something off the wall crazy to stay ahead of the game. And, stuffing a Hemi into a Jeep JL or JT or both would be easy for them to do since they've got all the hardware and software and would simply need to figure out packaging, and, it would destroy the tiny little EcoBust engines in the Fords on the popularity scale.

So, moral of the story is: times are changin'.
