I used a Laird TM8B mount which is black and very good quality, they can sometimes show up on eBay new in the $20 range. Someone complained in the past about another brand that may not have worked out.

Here's how I mounted my antenna using a ditch light mounting bracket and a ditch light extension for the antenna to be mounted on. I just have gotten my GMRS radio installed a few days ago.
