No idea if the entire thread title fit...

I've done the search option. I've done the Youtube search. Maybe I just suck at searches, but with a forward facing camera,
is it easy enough to transfer a stock Jeep Gladiator Rubicon forward-facing camera to an aftermarket grille? Think mean, like over-compensating for something a guy would be lacking mean. Just sayin', Winter is coming, the doors are going back on, the soft top is getting sealed up, the plastic window is going back on, the windshield is getting bolted back on, the mud tires will be doubling as snow tires, and I am going to need a pick-me-up, something the ole wifey just can't compensate for.

Black Friday is coming and I've already got good deals for a Smittybilt X20 12k synthetic winch and an Ace Engineering tall hoop front bumper. But I need to look even more like a jerk.

Can I transfer the front camera to a new Angry Grille? Post your suggestions because I'm in the near-term market with money to waste.

It may not be easy, but, where there's a will, there's a way...

Might not be anything now, but now since the trail cam came the the wrangler manufacturers might make a provision for it.

Yep, that's what I thought. Was kind of hoping to do the grille mod BEFORE trading out the bumper and adding a winch. May be impossible afterwards.

Funny...

Quick story. First day I had the Rubi I got stuck in a swampy mudhole in the hundred acre wood. It sat eyeball deep overnight until I could get the backhoe out there. It got stuck too.

Be aware the Tazer camera mount for the JT is definitely different to the JL mount.

Measure the width of the camera and then make sure your new fancy grille has wide enough openings for it to fit. If not, it’s nothing some zip ties and duct tape won’t fix.

Not sure where the Tazer camera comes into play here. OP is talking about the factory trailcam. The factory trailcam is now available on 2021 Wranglers.

My point is the mount for a JT camera, regardless of source, is going to be different to the mount for a JL grill.

I would honestly be surprised if the factory use two different parts for what is essentially the same grill. The only difference between the JL and JT grills is the honeycomb inserts on the JT grill are bigger. You can easily swap out those honeycomb inserts between vehicles.

I thought the slots were also slightly wider...
