Grease Coupler Help & Advice Please…….

Hello and thank you for your help. What is the best way to grease this recessed fitting on all of my aftermarket steering linkage. Standard grease couplers are about 5/8 of an inch which is .625 and will NOT fit. I need a coupler that is less than .585 in diameter ( I think I have looked everywhere, auto part stores, Amazon, and so on). There has to be something else to use then that horrible grease needle to get to the pictured zerk fitting.. Thank you! P.S…… I did speak to Teraflex on the phone who makes all of my steering linkage and they stated that they get their couplers that fit from Napa auto parts. I went to Napa and they had no idea of a regular coupler that fits in there..

It doesn't clip onto the fitting, but you don't seem to have much choice.

Lincoln 5855 adapter is another version of the above, but it appears to be for direct mount to the grease gun:

Yeah, that company makes a fitting it doesn't lock on but fits over the end as a cup shape.

The needles are all but worthless.
I've also got a jar with fitting extensions - I use a small deep socket to remove the fitting, screw in an extended fitting, grease it, then swap back. Takes roughly 1 minute extra per fitting to grease.

1/4 drive deep socket, remove deep fitting, screw in extended fitting, grease, swap back.
