Granger isn't far off I80/I35 west mixmaster area. Take 141 from interstates NW side of Des Moines. Airport isn't too far off, either.

Not complaining, just trying to understand. Jeep charges the same to ship anywhere in continental US. Why couldn't it be dropped at my nearest (willing) dealer? I bought my JT from Koon's and at the time they would have done courtesy shipping, I didn't know and had to private party ship it. Even after paying $1,300 to ship I STILL saved $6,481 from what my local dealer wanted to charge,

If you don't have a trade............ but get a trade involved and it gets more complicated. I looked into a different 7% under deal in another state - no trade talk, meaning I'd have to sell my trade locally and that all but erased the savings in tax costs by the time I figured in getting down there, driving it back, selling my trade and losing tax advantages.
Things get messy when you toss a trade into the mix, and if you have to travel far, be sure to count the time and mileage expense. (unless you use it as a vacation, which is fine for some)
