Hello - I just installed these affordable headlights from Amazon. I love them, no flicker and very bright.

Right now I have the halos tapped into fuse #52

However is it possible to have the halos off when the headlights are on? Like this when the switch is set to 'parking lights'

Maybe its the halos reflecting off the grayish bezels, but at night it is very bright - maybe too bright!

Thanks in advanced!

You'll find out if they are too bright when you drive 2 lane roads and highways..........

Here, they swing around and chase after you.....

The DRL or halos aren't supposed to be all that bright so it's hard to imagine they causing the issue. However, cheap replacements - all bets off.

I believe there's a way to do it in JSCAN or AlfaOBD but I'd have to check.

Being the halos are tapped into the #52 fuse, isn't this constant power or no? When I checked, that's the lighter fuse. I was surprised it is off when the switch is set to parking lights though 🤔 If I can't have the halos off with the headlights, do you think a toggle switch to turn off the halos will work?

Just an update. I ended up wiring an on/off toggle switch between the fuse tap and the halos, mounted the switch deep under my dash just because I didn't want to ruin the new(ish) plastic and now I can turn off the halos while my headlights are on and not blind the hell out of people at night!:like:
