I am being very specific here, wanting a specific answer. @Hootbro this is probably right up your alley.

Front flare indicator lights. Is there ANY difference between halogen and LED on the harness from the light to the disconnect at the body?

The harness comes with the light if ordered separate. The harness is attached to the flare and connected to the light if you order a new flare. I need to know if I need to remove halogen harness from the flare when I get my new LED light to be put in the flare. It will be easier to do this before the new flare is installed.

Yes, I know it would have been easier to just order the flare with the correct style light. Thought I had a set of LED's coming for free so ordered the flare with halogen as it was much cheaper. The LED's fell through so I have a new LED coming.

I think they are different between halogen and LED for the harness. I tried looking at the wiring schematic which is spread out between 3 systems (Turn, Park & Headlamp) and it is hard to determine if it is a common harness as it will show both the basic and "Premium" lights for both on the same diagram.

I wish I could be more solid about it but I would have to put hands on a vehicle and look to see what is actually there.

Below is a thread from the JL side diving into it.

Thank you, I'll just wait until the correct light with harness arrives and switch it all out with the flare off the JT. Broken LED still functions and the flare is being held together with high speed Gorilla tape so all is good for the moment. Only thing not there is the side marker light, but I don't think I'll get a ticket for that.

If the harnesses have a part number on them, I'll compare those and will update this at that time.

Cool!

By coincidence, I have a OEM led set coming in I just bought off the board also and will be going through the same thing figuring it out.

22325AE Rev06 is the tag on the halogen harness on the new flare.
