Installing heated seats in my Willy’s. I have already tapped F52 for my oracle headlight halos. Seems like F57 is a switched circuit for the factory heated seats.

my question is, will F57 have power in the fuse box even though I don’t have factory heated seats? Has anyone added aftermarket heaters? If so where Did you tap? Im gonna give F57 a try

I have checked some of those empty fuse spaces for 12 volts and have found no voltage present. My belief is that if the accessary is not installed at the time of initial build the wiring circuit will not be installed either. There may be exceptions I just have not been lucky enough to find it.

So I looked at the fuse box last night. Truck has both those 20 amp fuses installed in the heater seat slots F57/F58. Gonna check it with the volt meter this afternoon and see if we have power there.

F57/F58 are viable taps for switched power even if you don’t have factory heated seats. I just got done installing everything, works with no issues. Now I just need my katzkins to come so I can install the pads, install the leather and be done.
